The Zoll AED 3 Trainer offers simulation of the AED 3 full and semi-automatic in one device. Thus, the training device provides complete rescue simulation of sudden cardiac arrest, including shock delivery and CPR. With the training defibrillator, first responders get real-time feedback through Real CPR Help and can learn how to correctly perform chest compressions in one training session.

Training device with Real CPR Help for education and training

The AED 3 Trainer can be used to demonstrate and practice the professional handling of the identical inch AED 3 as well as the correct cardiac massage. The shock type can be changed from semi-automatic to fully automatic mode. With the help of audio-visual support, first responders are guided step-by-step through the training scenarios with easy-to-understand graphics as well as voice instructions. The AED Trainer can also be adjusted to young patients via a separate children's button. No remote control is required to configure the rescue simulation; all settings are conveniently made on the device.

Real CPR Help technology provides direct feedback on the quality of CPR during practice electrodes. The CPR orientation point not only shows the correct placement of the hands for CPR - compression sensors in the Uni-padz training electrodes register the placement on the training manikin and provide feedback on compression frequency and depth. The CPR Uni-padz training electrodes are safe to use because the training device does not deliver shock. The training electrodes can be used for approx. 50 training cycles (cardiac massage of 2 minutes each).
