The MELAG MELAdoc label printer is a handheld labeler that facilitates and improves manual batch documentation for medical instruments. With this label printer, important information such as sterilization date, batch number, releasing person, sterilizer used and expiration date can be set by numerical stamp. The printed stickers identify the packages containing the sterilized instruments. The double self-adhesive sticker can be removed from the sterilization packaging and stuck in the patient's file. With the help of the MELAdoc labels, the medical devices used can be reliably assigned to the patient. This simplifies batch documentation and increases process reliability in instrument traceability.
