DocCheck Tools “Klopp” reflex hammer – Second choice

Trömner percussion hammer

The "Klopp" DocCheck reflex hammer has a metal handle and is used for neurologically testing patients’ reflexes. Like most reflex hammers, this one has two rubber inserts of different sizes at the head’s ends. You can trigger the large tendons of the extensor muscles with the large head end. The smaller head end is intended for testing the tendons of the flexor muscles. Thanks to this Trömmer reflex hammer, you will be able to examine in no time the Patellar tendon reflexes, Achilles tendon reflexes, triceps reflexes and biceps tendon reflexes

The Trömner’s relatively heavy head makes the instrument particularly easy to handle. Combined with gravity, it helps you hit the patient’s body part with the same force every time during reflex testing examinations. This kind of reflex hammer is therefore ideal for students.
