Biopsafe - Sample container for biopsies
BiopSafe enables the safe transport of biopsy samples without direct contact with formalin. The system consists of a safety container and a special lid, which is already air-tightly prefilled with formalin. The removed tissue is placed into the container and the lid is screwed on securely. Through pressing onto the lid, the formalin is released and encloses the biopsy sample. The formalin remains securely in the container and no vapors or fluids can leak out. This method of handling formalin adds to the protection of medical personnel and reduces complex work steps.
