Even children's hearts sometimes need a new drive. ZOLL has developed the Pedi-padz II to ensure that this happens safely and is adapted to the child's organism. You can connect these to the AED Plus and it recognizes them automatically. It then switches to a pediatric mode adapted to the needs of a child's heart.

Pedi-padz II - Extra for children
The AED Plus has ZOLL's unique, intelligent pediatric feature because it detects when pediatric leads are connected. If this is the case, it automatically switches its ECG analysis algorithm from adult to pediatric parameters.
Pedi-padz II pediatric electrodes are designed with your young patients in mind. They are therefore suitable for children under 8 years of age or with a body weight under 25 kg.
