The device is equipped with all the basic functions of a FRED easyport plus semi-automatic model and features a manual mode with ECG display and monitoring function via defibrillation electrodes. Based on this data, medical professionals can determine whether a shockable rhythm is present. In preclinical care and during transport, pre-connected electrodes and short charging times between shocks (< 18 seconds/150 J) ensure rapid readiness.
