Cold-warm compresses from Gello Geltechnik
The classic cold/warm compresses from Gello Geltechnik are used to store and release heat or cold as required . Simply place the compress in hot water, the microwave or the refrigerator before use.

- Possible areas of application:
- Hot: for back pain, rheumatism, lumbago, sore muscles, etc.
- Cold: for bruises, toothache, fever, arthritis, etc.
- Note: Cold/hot compresses must not be used for circulatory disorders and hypersensitivity to cold, Raynaud's syndrome. Only use for cardiovascular disease and diabetes mellitus after consulting a doctor.

Instructions for use
For heat applications, heat in hot water up to + 80 °C or in the microwave at 280 W under constant supervision. After heating, knead the compress well so that the heat is evenly distributed. Wrap the compress with a thin cloth during application. The heating time depends on the size of the compress (overheating can destroy the compress):
- 13 x 14 cm: Water bath approx. 4 minutes Microwave (280 watts) approx. 2 minutes
- 12 x 29 cm: Water bath approx. 6 minutes Microwave (280 watts) approx. 4 minutes
- 16 x 26 cm: bain-marie approx. 6 minutes Microwave (280 watts) approx. 4 minutes
- 21 x 38 cm: bain-marie approx. 8 minutes Microwave (280 watts) approx. 6 minutes
- 30 x 40 cm: Water bath approx. 10 minutes Microwave (280 watts) approx. 10 minutes
For cold applications, cool the compress in the freezer at up to approx. -18 °C for approx. 2 hours. When using, wrap the compress with a thin cloth. The cooling pad can also be stored in the refrigerator or freezer so that it is ready for immediate use.
