Cooling packs for quickly treating injuries

This cooling pack can be activated in a matter of seconds by merely bending the pack. This will immediately activate it, making it ready for immediate use. This cooling pack is designed for single use.

How to use a cooling pack?

Cold packs make use of endothermic dissolution processes. This cooling pack contains only water and urea. These two substances are separated within the compress by a small pouch. By bending and pressing the compress, the water packet bursts, coming into contact with the urea. This triggers a chemical reaction that absorbs heat from the surroundings, cooling the injury when applied to the skin. The instant cold compress can be used as a cooling element at any time, even if it was previously at room temperature. Once the chemical reaction has been triggered within the cooling pack, the cold compress cannot be reactivated. The contents of the compress are protected by the strong outer material of the packaging. The cooling packs should not be exposed to heat or direct sunlight.
