The DermLite Handyscope turns mobile devices into dermatoscopes in pocket size. It can be easily connected to an iOS or Android smartphone or tablet and is attached to the device with an adhesive metal ring or the MCC MagneticConnect adapter. The integrated magnets of the Handyscope ensure a secure hold for the flexible and wireless performance of digital dermatoscopy from anywhere. Through the use of polarized and unpolarized light, the Handyscope offers clear and detailed images that allow for the precise assessment of skin diseases and early detection of skin cancer. The detachable snap-on glass faceplate allows for the performance of both contact and non-contact dermatoscopy. The device’s compatibility with IceCap single-use protective caps minimizes the risk of infection.
