The OCULUS C-Test distance is a vision test for identifying crowding effects in ophthalmology and optometry. It allows for the assessment of visual acuity and is especially useful in diagnosing and monitoring amblyopia. The vision test is based on charts with standardized Landolt rings, whose openings point in four directions. It is conducted from a distance of 5 meters and provides results in standard visual acuity values. The C-Test is particularly suitable for use in ophthalmology practices, orthoptics, and pediatric ophthalmology. It includes a visual acuity chart with a protective side and single optotypes on the back, a test chart with line optotypes in various sizes, and double-sided laminated answer cards as a desktop display.
