Sekusept Extra N Instrument Disinfection from Ecolab

For the disinfection and cleaning of medical instruments made of metal, glass, as well as thermo labile instruments and accessories, which are disinfected but not sterilized, i.e. anesthesiology equipment and flexible endoscopes. (Limited for specific synthetics, see application instructions).

Immerse instruments and implements immediately after use in Sekusept Extra N solution. Ensure complete wetting. Remove instruments from the solution after the prescribed contact time and rinse with water of at least drinking quality (better with distilled water or demineralized water). To support cleaning efforts, add 1% Sekusept Cleaner to the solution; increase to 2,0 % if needed. Material-alterations are possible in continued use with polycarbonate, polysulfide and acrylic glass, but can be mostly avoided with sufficient rinsing after each application.

          • non-contaminated solution: stable 14 days (covered instruments tank)
          • contaminated solution: According to RKI guidelines, solution must be started fresh daily
          • aldehyde-free
          • Effectiveness: bactericidal (incl. TBC), limited virucidal (HBV/HIV), fungicidal
