BBraun Askina Soft i.V. Fixation plasters are used to fix cannulas to the patient's skin surface. The cannula plaster is particularly well tolerated because it is made of elastic, breathable nonwoven material. For the patient, this means a high level of wearing comfort, as the cannula fixation plaster provides underpadding for the cannula body.

Askina Soft i.V. Fixation bandage at a glance
When developing the Askina Soft i.V. cannula plasters, BBraun especially thought about the well-being of the patient. Indwelling venous cannulas can be gently and reliably fixed to the surface of the skin. The adhesive used for this purpose is already applied to the underside of this vein fixation bandage. It is hypoallergenic and does not prevent oxygen from reaching the patient's skin. The non-woven material from which the vein fixation bandage is made is also breathable. This nonwoven material is also elastic and flexible. The absorbent wound pad provides a high level of protection against infection.
The handling of BBraun's indwelling vein cannula fixation bandage is extremely simple - it is similar to the application of wound plasters. This means that the cannula is securely and hygienically fixed in seconds and the patient is optimally cared for.
