Needle-Holder after Mathieu from Tekno-Medical

The Tekno-Medical needle holder according to Mathieu has no eyeglass grip, it clamps into the suturer's hand with a spring and is much lighter in construction than the one according to Hegar/Olsen. Due to its wedge-shaped profile, it is less suitable for deep sutures; its advantage is faster, easier handling. In the case of sutures that require frequent re-gripping (continuous sutures, anastomoses, etc.), a gain in time can be achieved with less use of force.
