Roche Urisys 1100 urine analyzer

The PoC analyzer Urisys 1100 by Roche evaluates Combur UX urine test strips automatically. The photometric determination of 10 parameters delivers standardized quantitative results with high accuracy and is suitable for doctor’s offices, small laboratories, and hospital settings. Intuitive handling and integrated control functions allow for safe operating. Its integrated printer automatically delivers the results on paper. Measurements can be transferred to medical practice softwares via Urisys 1100’s interfaces.

Data processing via IT connection

Urisys 1100 has connectivity for barcode scanners and a keyboard for entering patient and user ID. Results are transmitted to a PC via serial interface.
The optional data management system cobas IT 100 by Roche allows the connection of Urisys 1100 to laboratory information systems (LIS) to share patient data and transfer results (quality assurance documentation that conforms to RiliBÄK).

• During unidirectional operation, the data is immediately sent as ASCII files to the interface after every reading. Sequence number, patient ID (if necessary), date, and time can be seen via a terminal program.
• In ASTM mode, results with user and device ID, as well as the last calibration, can additionally be transmitted to the host computer.
