The LumiraDx D-Dimer test is used for the quantitative measurement of D-dimer from capillary blood, venous citrate whole blood, and citrate plasma. This in vitro diagnostic test is intended for patients aged 18 years and older and supports healthcare professionals in the exclusion and diagnosis of deep vein thrombosis and pulmonary embolism in suspected cases of venous thromboembolism. As a point-of-care test, it provides accurate results directly from a fingerstick sample within 6 minutes. Multiple integrated quality controls ensure reliable and correct performance.
