The mö-screen Urine Tamper Test from möLab is a rapid and semi-quantitative strip test for the detection of adulterants in urine. The test is particularly important for detecting manipulation of urine samples in drug testing, which can lead to false negative results. A test strip is dipped into the urine to determine creatinine, nitrite, glutaraldehyde, pH, specific gravity, and oxidants. After one minute, the color changes on the test patches can be visually compared to the color scales on the test package. The results provide a semi-quantitative overview of the urine parameters and help to assess the integrity of the urine sample.
