Automatic quality tests for highest reproducibility

In vitro rapid tests can be quickly evaluated with this CLINITEK Status + Test system. The urinalysis device photometrically measures the test value, making it far more reliable than systems that use colour charts..

The instrument can process various Multistix / Clinitek test strips as well as Clinitest hCG test cassettes. The test results help the health professional make a diagnosis of kidney and liver function. They can also be used for detecting urinary tract infections, metabolic disorders (diabetes mellitus), and pregnancies.

The analysis system also features a touch screen with comprehensive test menu and intuitive menu navigation. The prepared test sticks have to be placed in the sample holder. The patented test strip technology will then automatically read and evaluate them in the corresponding time frame.

The instrument independently performs quality checks to detect any common sample interferences that may appear (e.g. moisture problems) and provides indications of potentially wrong results. To ensure consistently reliable test results, the instrument has an auto-check function. Quality checks get automatically done before each test strip measurement, using the white bar in the sample insert to calibrate the instrument.

The integrated thermal printer prints the results directly, avoiding any possible reading errors during transmission.
