          The Mycro training system by UpSurgeOn is a compact pocket-sized training laboratory. The simulation kit for microvascular anastomoses and micro seams is applicable in different fields thanks to the exchangeable pods (e. g. muscle and brain pods). This allows for the expansion and training of motor skills in different disciplines and fields. The blood flow simulation and leakage test system on realistic vessels make the training comparable to the application on live animals. This prepares surgeons optimally for surgeries in the operating room.

          The Mycro app by UpSurgeOn adds interactive virtual content and exercises to the Mycro training system. It offers a broad spectrum of learning materials, including an extensive library with educational videos and tutorials for the training of microvascular anastomoses and micro seams. It is also possible to concentrate the training on certain areas and to improve special skills. The app is available for free on iOS and Android and impresses with helpful functions like Augmented Reality which allows for an even more realistic training experience. The Mycro app’s AR function enables the user to aim their smartphone or tablet at the training set to display a virtual 3D model of the vessel and needles on the screen. This ensures an interactive training whose difficulty level can be adjusted to the user.
