ERKA Sensitive - The details

The ERKA Sensitive stethoscopes made of brass have a hand-polished and non-porous chrome-plated surface. This is significantly more resistant to germs and bacteria than stainless steel or aluminum. The patented ERKA Dual Membrane - consisting of a highly sensitive, extra-thin, wave-shaped copper-beryllium membrane and an outer protective membrane - is designed like an additional sound chamber. This allows you to optimally auscultate even the finest body sounds. The membrane has been successfully tested for biocompatibility by an independent laboratory and classified as dermatologically safe.

All ERKA stethoscopes have optimally ergonomically shaped chestpieces. These allow you to auscultate even hard-to-reach regions of the body or differently constituted patients. The dual-channel tube of the ERKA Sensitive stethoscope has two internal channels to address each ear separately. This maximizes the sound image and minimizes noise - ideal for cardiology. The spring integrated in the tube ensures that the acoustics are transmitted from the chestpiece to the ear with particularly low loss.

The ergonomically shaped and individually adjustable headband of the ERKA Sensitive stethoscope guarantees an optimal fit. The standard 15° inclined earpieces can be individually adjusted to your ear canal characteristics. Each ERKA stethoscope comes with a selection of different ear tips so that you can use them according to your individual needs.

The special thing about ERKA stethoscopes is that each one is elaborately polished by hand by a master craftsman and then chrome-plated to a high gloss. Therefore, each ERKA stethoscope is unique and made in Germany.
