Atrauman Silicone wound contact layer from HARTMANN
The spacer mesh of the Atrauman Silicone wound contact layer from HARTMANN is coated with medical silicone on both sides and enables atraumatic wound treatment. The open mesh structure does not adhere to moist surfaces and is permeable to exudate. Thus, the silicone wound layer does not stick to the wound and optimally drains fluids into a secondary dressing. On dry surfaces, on the other hand, the silicone mesh adheres gently and securely, so that dressings do not slip and sensitive structures are protected. Atrauman Silicone can be individually cut to size and is easy to drape.
