This goes into the depths! The HEINE BETA 400 F.O. Otoscope head has a very high depth of field and thus offers you an exact spatial representation and a large field of view during the examination. It is used for viewing the external auditory canal and the tympanic membrane.

HEINE BETA 400 F.O. Otoscope head - 4.2x magnification
This otoscope head has a large viewing window made of scratch-resistant glass. The ENT physician can use its 4.2x magnification to locate symptoms of disease or inflammation in the pinna, tympanic membrane and tympanum. The airtight, upward-folding swivel magnifier provides a perfect view into the ear and delivers images that are sharp at the edges and free of distortion.
This otoscope has a solid, matte chrome all-metal housing and the sophisticated design allows for precise one-handed operation, as well as easy cleaning of the instrument head. It can be ordered with either XHL Xenon Halogen or LED illumination and can be completed with BETA charging handles. If you choose an otoscope head with XHL, you can choose between 2.5 V and 3.5 V.
Otoscopy is a diagnostic procedure in ear medicine for examining the auditory canal. ENT physicians also use the otoscope for otoscopy during routine examinations in order to directly detect possible diseases.
