The MCB chair scale from KERN is suitable for weighing patients with limited mobility. Thanks to the flexible castors, the chair scale can be transported comfortably through the clinic or directly into the patient's room. The chair scale has a high load capacity of up to 300 kg - so even people with a body weight in the obese range can be reliably weighed. In addition, the MCB scale has advanced additional functions that support medical staff during examinations. For example, the body mass index can be determined directly on site at in combination with body height.

Extended additional functions of the KERN MCB chair scale

For improved measuring accuracy and as an aid to diagnosis, the MCB chair scale has practical additional functions.

With the help of the patient's height, the MCB scale can automatically calculate the respective body mass index from the height and the determined weight via the BMI function . This value can then be used to assess the further course of therapy.

In the event of any preloads, the tare function can be used to tare out the respective patient's own weight so that only the patient's actual weight is subsequently displayed. This function is particularly suitable for measuring the weight of infants without separating them from the parent. 

In addition, the MBC chair scale has a hold function, whereby the measured result is frozen in the display for further processing. This allows medical personnel to make a note of the determined value at a later time.
