With the boso TM-2450 cBP upgrade, the TM-2450 long-term blood pressure monitor is able to determine and evaluate the central blood pressure. The central blood pressure, also called cBP, is the aortic blood pressure, which is located directly in the aorta and has a direct influence on important organs such as the heart, brain or kidneys. The cBP value is considered an important predictor of cardiovascular disease and, according to its functionality, has a higher significance than peripheral blood pressure. The cBP upgrade can be purchased at any time later for the boso 24h long-term blood pressure monitor and saves the purchase of an already upgraded device.
