3 measuring modes - precise and flexible
The Erkameter E sets standards in medical blood pressure measurement on the upper arm. Blood pressure measurement in medical routine is performed with the aid of a fully automatic single measurement in Rapid mode. In Advanced mode, the arterial pressure value is determined from the mean value of two consecutive single measurements. In some cases, automatic measurement can be problematic - so in Classic mode, the Erkameter E only takes care of inflation and storage. This allows the physician to perform the auscultatory measurement with a stethoscope.
- RAPID: This method performs a fully automatic and reliable single measurement. It is suitable for routine examinations in the practice and clinic.
- ADVANCED: The oscillometric measurement mode determines the mean blood pressure value from 2 individual measurements taken in quick succession. Since this measurement method follows the ESH guidelines, it provides a very good basis for the physician's therapy discussion.
- CLASSIC: For more doctor-patient interaction or in more difficult cases, there is the "Classic" mode - it is suitable for auscultatory measurement using a stethoscope. The Erkameter E inflates the cuff and stores the measured values.
