This touchTymp RaceCar MI 24 tympanometer makes impedance measurement in children quick and easy. All examination parameters can be set in just a few steps using the large touch display. The child-friendly RaceCar function motivates the young patient to keep still. The ergonomic probe displays important information such as a real-time measurement progress or the probe position’s quality. All screening measurement procedures can be carried out quickly and safely according to standard measurement protocols. All test results can be viewed clearly on the large display or printed out directly (for the version with integrated printer). Alternatively, the measurement results can be exported as a test report in various file formats using the supplied tympanometry software supplied.

Child-friendly animations with the RaceCar function

During the examination, the large touch display pictures a racing car animation which encourages children to concentrate for the duration of the pressure measurement in the middle ear. If the test fails, the animation shows a car breakdown and the race must be restarted. If the measurement is successful, the car drives through the finish line and the patient wins the race. The middle ear analysis is completed in just a few seconds. In the touchTymp MI 24 version with integrated printer, the printing process is started automatically after the probe is put back, so the doctor can fully concentrate on the patient again.
