VivaDiag VivaDiag Monkeypox IgM IgG Rapid Test Kit

The VivaDiag Monkeypox Virus IgM/IgG Rapid Test provides rapid qualitative detection of monkeypox antibodies in human whole blood, serum or plasma. The in vitro test uses immunochromatography to determine whether monkeypox virus IgM or IgG antibodies are present in the blood. The rapid test is suitable as a supplemental test for suspected cases with negative monkeypox virus nucleic acid detection or in conjunction with nucleic acid detection. The results of the IgM/IgG antibody test should not be used as the sole basis for diagnosing or ruling out monkeypox virus infection or for providing information on infection status.

Easy to use for rapid detection of monkeypox

Before starting the test, all test components must be brought to room temperature (15–30 °C). Approximately 20 μL of sample material is required to perform the monkeypox rapid test. This can be taken from the fingertip using the safety lancet and pipette provided. The sample material is then mixed with 2 drops of the buffer. As soon as the sample material passes through the membrane of the monkeypox rapid test, the test reacts via capillary action. After 15 minutes, the test result can be read.
