Each Hecht-Assistent cupping head is made of mouth-blown glass and optimally shaped to create the ideal vacuum for cupping. The glass is also easy to clean, e.g. in the dishwasher with subsequent disinfection. The option of choosing the cupping glasses with or without a tube olive and ball means that the Hecht cupping glasses can be used individually and as required.

Cupping: what are the benefits?

The cupping glass or cupping head is applied to specific areas of the body that have been palpated beforehand. By heating the air in the cupping glasses beforehand, the pressure conditions required for humoral therapy can be produced. However, a special suction cup can also achieve this. Cupping is usually used in the area of myogelosis to influence the internal organs. Bloody or wet cupping has a slightly more intensive effect than the dry form. In both cases, cupping heads or cupping glasses are used to achieve the desired result.

A relatively wide range of complaints can be treated with cupping. This form of therapy is said to be effective for migraines and rheumatism, but also for lumbago, knee problems and hypertension. Even bronchitis, tonsil problems, asthma and depression are said to be improved by cupping therapy. Caution: Dry cupping therapy should not be used on pregnant women until the 16th week of pregnancy. Tuberculosis and tumor patients or patients with sunburn should also not be treated with cupping heads.
