No contact = no contamination! Infrared clinical thermometers feature an innovative sensor that allow you to measure a body’s temperature without having to touch the patient. You get the measured temperature in just a few seconds. These modern thermometers can be placed in the ear or other body parts. There are also infrared instruments from manufacturers like boso, Braun or Welch Allyn.
The well-known ear thermometer function with infrared technology: it measures the heat rays emitted by the eardrum and its tissue. The results are shown on the device's display within seconds.
