The Setpack swabs RK from Lohmann & Rauscher are used to absorb secretions and blood. The swabs are sterile and thus suitable for surgical use. They are made of gauze, which makes them very soft and particularly absorbent. In addition, an X-ray contrast thread is woven into each swab, making them detectable.
