The universal cuff pressure measuring device from VBM Medizintechnik was specially developed for tracheal tubes and supraglottic airway devices. It is characterized by intuitive operation, robustness, compactness and low weight. The measuring device is used to set and check the cuff pressure and is known for its accuracy and precision. The analog system is independent of energy sources and therefore requires no power supply or batteries. The cuff pressure gauge has a pressure range of 0 to 120 cmH2O and a scale with a diameter of 68 mm. Color-coded areas on the scale help to indicate the ideal pressure to maintain capillary blood flow in the tracheal mucosa.
