How it works

The illuminated forceps are particularly suitable for removing foreign bodies from the nose, ears and mouth. In otorhinolaryngology, as well as for pediatricians, the instrument offers a wide range of applications.

The disposable instrument is inserted into the LED light source and automatically switches on the illumination. The transparent plastic conducts the light all the way to the tip. This makes it easier to detect foreign bodies even in small orifices. For even better visibility, the scope of delivery also includes a clip-on magnifier. The blunt forceps have a spring-loaded handle that opens the forceps jaws up to 5 mm when squeezed. The material is rounded and does not cause any injuries. After use, the tweezer attachment is disconnected from the light source, thus the illumination turns off again. The tweezers are a hygienic disposable item that is disposed of after use. The light source as well as the magnifying glass can be used several times with new tweezer attachments. This way less plastic waste is produced.
