Peha-instrument Surgical forceps according to Adson - The details
Adson surgical forceps differ from anatomical forceps in that they are sharper. For this reason, and due to their small teeth, they are particularly delicate and suitable for delicate tissue - as a general rule, one chooses the size of the forceps and the number of forceps teeth depending on the tissue to be grasped. Thus, the Adson forceps is suitable for very fine and delicate structures on the face or neck and is used for the dura.
Hartmann's surgical Adson forceps are disposable. Hartmann peha instruments bring many advantages. The individual sterile packages allow you to reduce the amount of cleaning, disinfection, sterilization, packaging and personnel required. Cross-contamination can be avoided by using disposable instruments and maximum hygiene is guaranteed. The single use and accurate labeling of surgical instruments makes medical documentation much easier.
You can collect contaminated disposable instruments just like commercially available reusable instruments and dispose of them accordingly. The plus: steel is recyclable!
