Neutral electrodes as accessories for electrosurgery
Electrosurgery is the most common surgical procedure in the operating room. There is an electrosurgical unit in almost every operating room in the world, and it is used in all interventional disciplines, in both inpatient and office-based settings. This neutral electrode is an original accessory for Erbe Elektromedizin GmbH devices. The two-part contact surface has a size of 85 cm² plus equipotential ring with 23 cm² and the highly adhesive hydrogel ensures full-surface contact even during longer operations and possible complications. After surgery, the NESSY OMEGA can be easily detached despite its good adhesive properties. In addition, disposable neutral electrode is pH-neutral and latex-free, making it particularly skin-friendly.
