The OBT 103 transmitted light microscope from KERN is a school microscope characterized by clear controls and robustness. It is suitable for thin, high-contrast, less demanding preparations, such as translucent plant tissue, stained cells and parasites. The monocular tube for single-eye viewing is fully rotatable and tilted to 45°. The LED lamp is continuously dimmable and the single condenser lens with adjustable aperture diaphragm provides optimal illumination of the specimen. Three high-quality objectives are pre-mounted in the revolving nosepiece. The power supply is via cable or battery operation, so that the OBT 103 can also be used as a mobile instrument.
