The eKuore Pro® electronic stethoscope combines innovative design with smart technology. Simply connect this diagnostic instrument via cable, smartphone app or Bluetooth transmitter (optionally available) to the desired headphones or speaker. The device’s listening mode will then allow you to manually adjust the stethoscope’s sounds up to 5 volume levels. If you connect the stethoscope with a mobile device, such as a smartphone or tablet, you will be able to visualize, save, and forward quickly and easily auscultating records on the eKuore app. You can also change the device’s frequency with just one click, as well as choosing between a lung, heart, or heart and lung mode, depending on the recording. The stethoscope’s filter reliably cancels out any background noises.

eKuore adapts to your needs & requirements
One stethoscope - many functions! The eKuore stethoscope is anything but a conventional auscultation device. Despite its multiple functions and innovative design, it is very easy to use.
- eKuore may look different on the outside, but it is used just like a conventional stethoscope. Simply press the chestpiece on the patient’s chest and the back.
- Nobody likes to work under pressure! Your eKuore stethoscope perform best when pressed lightly against the skin.
- We advise starting with the first volume level when you start auscultating. Feel free to increase it gradually as needed.
Wireless thanks to smartphone or separately available Bluetooth transmitter
Whether wireless in-ear headphones or noise-canceling over-ear headphones: eKuore stethoscopes are compatible with almost all common headphones. This diagnostic instrument does not have ear hooks or ear tips, unlike conventional stethoscopes. Simply touch a button to connect the stethoscope with the eKuore app on your smartphone thanks to the integrated Wi-Fi function. You can also connect the diagnostic instrument with Bluetooth headphones using the separately available Bluetooth module. You will also be able to, depending on the model, increase the sound quality.
The stethoscope can also be connected to a Bluetooth speaker, which is included in the Premium Kit. This is perfect for medical students! There should be at least a 2 meters distance between the stethoscope and the speaker in order to avoid possible interference problems. You can also use a control pad to manually adjust the volume: There are 5 different volume levels which can amplify the noise up to 20 times.
Using wireless headphones simplify the auscultation examination, especially in those where the health professionals must wear protective equipment (for example, with COVID-19 patients), as there are no cables or ear hooks that interfere with that equipment. In addition, you will have the option of leaving the in-ear headphones in your ear after each auscultation, which will save you the time of having to take them off and on every time.
Digitize results with the free eKuore Pro app
Auscultation can be recorded quickly and easily with the eKuore app. The audio files are automatically saved on your smartphone and can be conveniently shared via the sharing function. You can also control the filter and volume modes on the app.

Convertible chestpiece
The eKuore stethoscope features three different chestpíeces designed for auscultating adults (included in the Basic Kit), infant, children and teenagers (optionally available or included in the Premium Kit). Replacing the chestpieces also reduces the risk of infection.

Ich bin begeistert vom neuen Konzept. Stethoskop mit Kopfhörer. Habe nur eine natürliche Ohrmuschel, weshalb sich bei anderen Stethoskopen die Oliven schlecht liegen und der Schall nicht gut in den Gehörgang geleitet wird. Herumbiegen am Bügel oder andere Konstruktionen waren bestenfalls zufriedenstellend. Elektronische Stethoskope hatten aufgrund der Verstärkung immerhin bessere Ergebnisse gebracht. Bisher drei klassische und zwei elektronische Stethoskope in Verwendung gehabt. Mit dem eKuore kann ich ohne den oben genannten Problem auskultieren und höre so gut wie noch nie. Bedienung, Verbindung mit Android ohne Probleme. Werde ihn Verlauf ein Update nach längerer Erprobung schreiben.

Ich durfte das eKuore im Rahmen des Area 51 Produktchecks in den letzten Wochen ausgiebig testen und vergleichen. Folgende Aspekte sind mir aufgefallen: Die Verbindung mit meinem Smartphone (Android) funktionierte auf Anhieb und problemlos sowohl via WLAN als auch via mitgeliefertem Bluetooth-Adapter. Ein bisschen schade ist, dass das Bluetooth-Modul nicht direkt ins Gerät integriert ist, bei guter Verbindung ist dies aber nur ein kleiner Verbesserungsvorschlag. Die Akkulaufzeit ist tatsächlich sehr gut, in zwei Wochen täglicher Benutzung musste ich nicht nachladen. Die App ist einfach zu bedienen und funktionell, eine visuelle Darstellung der Herztöne finde ich besonders in lauten Umgebungen durchaus hilfreich. Auch ist es möglich, die Ergebnisse mit den Patienten anhand der Bilder etwas „fassbarer“ zu besprechen. Das größte Manko ist leider die Audioqualität: Nebengeräusche werden leider deutlich besser verstärkt als die Herztöne, welche nur sehr leise wahrzunehmen sind. Wenn man den Bluetooth-Lautsprecher und das eKuore dann auf maximale Lautstärke stellt führt dies häufig zu laut pfeifenden Rückkopplungen. Noch schlechter sieht es bei der Auskultation der Atmung aus, Lungengeräusche sind extrem leise, man hat fast das Gefühl, sie werden aktiv herausgefiltert. Vielleicht habe ich auch nur ein Montags-Gerät erwischt, bei meinem eKuore war die Audioqualität jedoch so ungenügend, dass ich bei jeder Verwendung auf ein herkömmliches Stethoskop umsteigen musste. Verglichen habe ich das eKuore einerseits mit dem einfachen Littmann classic III, welches, meiner Meinung nach, eine deutlich bessere Akustik hat und andererseits mit dem elektronischen Littmann core, welches zur besseren Akustik noch eine Visualisierung und Verstärkung bietet. Alleinstellungsmerkmal des eKuore ist die kabellose Auskultation, welche besonders bei isolierten Patienten ein tolles Feature wäre….wenn denn die Audioqualität zumindest akzeptabel wäre.Fazit: Leider ist der tolle Grundgedanke des kabellosen Stethoskopes von der Audioqualität her nicht ausreichend umgesetzt, sodass ich das eKuore nicht weiterempfehlen kann. Wer ein elektronisches Stethoskop mit Visualisierung sucht sollte meiner Meinung nach eher z.B. auf das Littmann core zurückgreifen.

Trotz vieler emails mit dem Team von eKuore habe ich keine Verbindung zum iPhone X herstellen können. Ohne die Smartphoneverbindung ist der Mehrwert im Vergleich zu anderen Stethoskopen überschaubar. Auch bei weinenden oder schreienden Kindern funktioniert das eKuore nicht besser als andere Stethoskope.

Das eKuore hat mich positiv überrascht . Es ist einfach im Zusammenbau, hat angenehme Kopfhörer und eine funktionierende Verbindung zur App.Alle Patient/inn/en , nicht nur Kinder, sind sehr interessiert und empfinden die Untersuchungssituation als angenehmer und eindrücklicher, mit mehr eigener Beteiligung und Motivation für die Therapie.Gegenüber den bisherigen elektronisch verstärkten Stethoskopen empfinde ich dies als großen Vorteil, und dass zu ansteckenden Patient/inn/en zwanglos mehr Nasenabstand einhalten kann.Durch die Visualisierungen und digitale Speicherung können unterschiedliche Untersucher/innen den Verlauf beurteilen. Sätze wie „wie hat die Kollegin letzte Woche denn Ihr Atemgeräusch beschrieben?“ oder die Interpretation des nachzulesenden Befundes werden durch einen Blick auf die Aufzeichnung ersetzt.Für die Student/inn/en ist leicht und ohne Patientbelästigung ein mehrfaches Nachhören und Diskutieren möglich.Als Anregung an die Entwickler/innen wäre eine direkte Einbindung über eine Schnittstelle an das Praxisprogramm evtl. noch eine weitere Verbesserung.Insgesamt empfinde ich das eKuore als äußerst gelungen Bereicherung des ärztlichen Instrumentenkoffers.
