Hi there! I’m Scaut, the first fully digital pocket-sized dermatoscope. Let’s get straight to the point: you can stream my images to any digital device in no time and with zero software installation. Whether it’s on your phone, tablet, PC, smart TV or even in the cloud: I’m always ready. That’s what real teledermatology looks like.
To make sure I don’t miss a thing, I’m equipped with a 5-megapixel camera. Sure, I may not be quite as razor-sharp as your classic dermatoscope, but I make up for it in other ways: thanks to onboard image processing, I help reveal what the human eye might otherwise overlook. My Skinverse Effect® and false color rendering are here to back me up.

Me in action
- Simple setup: I connect flexibly to any internet-enabled device – whether it's a smartphone, tablet, or PC. Everything runs smoothly via your browser, with no need for an app or additional installation.
- Live view on screen: During the examination, you’ll see the live camera feed directly on your device’s screen. You can control lighting and color modes either through the software or using my buttons – including triggering image capture. For smooth performance, the live view is shown in reduced quality, but the captured images are saved in the highest resolution.
- Documentation on the body model: Assign captured images directly to the digital body model. This way, you can always locate and compare specific skin areas. Choose between a male or female model – rotatable in 90° steps.
- Progress monitoring: Easily revisit saved skin areas. The body model shows the marked location along with the image. Perfect for reliably comparing skin changes over time.
