Dark field application by KERN
The darkfield insert from KERN transforms any microscope of the in-house OBE 1 series into a darkfield microscope. The insert is simply screwed into the condenser so that - instead of point illumination - a ring-shaped illumination falls on the specimen. This makes the background of the specimen appear dark, and raised structures stand out brightly. The darkfield insert fits 4 x to 40 x objectives.
