Mölnlycke Mepilex Border Flex sterile foam dressing

The Mepilex Border Flex sterile foam dressing from Mölnlycke is a flexible dressing that impresses with its optimized adaptability thanks to the unique Flex technology. With a total of 5 layers, exudate is specifically absorbed, channeled and trapped, preventing reflux into the wound, even under a compression bandage. Compared to other foam dressings with adhesive edges, Mepilex Border Flex can absorb up to 2.2 times more ex udate. This makes it suitable for the treatment of exuding wounds such as pressure ulcers, leg and foot ulcers, and traumatic and surgical wounds. Safetac technology allows the foam dressing to adhere only to intact skin and not to the wound - resulting in less damage to the wound and skin during dressing changes. The sealing of the wound edges additionally prevents maceration.
