B. Braun Novosyn suture material

The braided Novosyn suture material from B. Braun is characterized by a medium-term tensile strength of around 21 days. The resorption time of the coated copolymer of glycolate and L-lactate is around 2 months. The suture material is therefore particularly used for the adaptation of soft tissue and for ligatures. The PGLA suture material is pleasantly flexible and has a very good knot fit. The B. Braun easyglide needles offer very good penetration behavior over the entire suture duration. Some of the ready-to-use needle-thread combinations are available in the optimized RacePack packaging, which reduces the memory effect and supports easy removal of the suture material.
