Optilene suture material by B. Braun
The non-absorbable B. Braun Optilene suture material has a particularly high suppleness with low tissue resistance due to its composition. The high flexibility of the suture enables good handling, particularly in cardiac and microsurgery. The monofilament synthetic fiber glides through the tissue without a sawing effect . The B. Braun easyglide needles offer very good penetration behavior over the entire suture duration. The ready-to-use needle-thread combinations are available in the optimized RacePack packaging, which reduces the memory effect and supports easy removal of the suture material.
