It is not only small and handy, but also has a voice function that will guide you through the process of treating a victim of suspected cardiac arrest. The integrated SMART pads get placed on the person’s skin and send data to the defibrillator, which then takes into account how the reanimation treatment is going. The AED can detect cardiac arrhythmias quickly and prevent cardiac death.

Ich habe das Gerät seit ca 10 Jahren und es bereits erfolgreich eingesetzt. Es ist gut zu bedienen, und im Unterhalt einfach und kostengünstig. Einziger Nachteil: die Klappe öffnet sich sehr leicht und dann beginnt das Gerät mit der Routine und spricht laut los. Das ist mit schon öfters in der Notfalltasche akzidentell passiert und sorgt dann für etwas Irritation.

For use, there is a pair of rescue scissors inside and a window pocket through which the quick start guide is placed in a clearly visible position - saving valuable seconds in an emergency. The electrode cassette is suitable for resuscitation and CPR training purposes and fits the Philips HeartStart HS1. The cassette contains self-adhesive and reusable pads with cable for adults. The HeartStart HS1 AED allows training scenarios to be performed with these training electrodes, as they switch the device to training mode with shock delivery disabled. Instructions and a large training card for pad placement are included in the package. The training card "Flat Man" shows how to position the electrodes on an adult. The simulation card not only a placement guide, it is also equipped with contacts. This supports the functions of the electrodes during the training simulation.
