The Abbott Panbio™ COVID-19/Flu A&B Rapid Panel rapid test serves the qualitative detection of SARS-CoV-2 and influenza A&B antigens (Ag). Due to the similarity of COVID-19 and influenza symptoms, the combined antigen test supports the differential diagnosis and allows for the simultaneous testing for COVID-19, influenza A, and influenza B by using nasopharyngeal swabs. The result is available within 15 minutes. The rapid test is designed for point-of-care applications in the medical field and stands out due to its high sensitivity and specificity which ensures a faster diagnosis and optimized patient care in order to stop the spread of viruses.
