Handheld dermatoscope with HEINE precision technology

The HEINE iC1 leverages the advantages of the iPhone: an excellent camera and an outstanding display. Together with the appropriate adapter shell, the free app, and your smartphone, the iC1 transforms into a dermatoscope for visual skin examination. It offers high image quality with up to 40x magnification, enabling the monitoring of melanomas, moles, and other skin lesions.

This skin examination tool allows easy switching between polarized and immersion imaging modes. The high-quality glass contact plate can be easily cleaned, ensuring high-quality images for every patient. Additional external examination lights are unnecessary, as the integrated LED^HQ lighting provides bright and uniform illumination. The integrated "Toggle" function enables image capture in both polarized and non-polarized light modes, allowing seamless switching between them.

Images can be conveniently documented with a single-finger zoom. With integrated patient assignment, previous images can be easily referenced, as image information and patient details are stored together. Storage is simple and secure, supported by advanced technology. The polymer battery technology enables USB charging and a charge level indicator.

HEINE iC1 App

The HEINE iC1 App allows you to store and manage dermatoscopic digital images using your iPhone. In combination with your HEINE dermatoscope, it captures high-resolution images of skin lesions using the camera system. The app optimizes camera settings for polarized and non-polarized light. Images can be easily assigned and organized on a body map.
Additional features include inputting patient information, adding comments and notes to images, and creating repeat images. The file function and automatic date recording simplify patient data management and the comparison of follow-up images.
Images are stored locally on the iPhone in PNG format, ensuring full data control.
All results can be discussed in detail with patients immediately. The sharing function allows dermatoscopic images to be emailed for easy collaboration with colleagues.
