Samarit Rollbord Blue is a repositioning and transfer aid that efficiently facilitates the movement of patients for nursing staff. The repositioning aid is covered with a silicone-coated sliding fabric and is placed under the patient. This allows strenuous lifting movements to be replaced by pulling or pushing movements when transferring the patient. The force required to push or pull the patient is only 18% of the patient's weight. It is therefore possible for a healthcare professional to transfer a patient from one surface to another with minimal effort. The Rollbord Blue is therefore particularly suitable for use in intensive care units, radiology, urology, gynecology, as well as in outpatient departments and emergency rooms. The lightweight rollboard model can also be used for back-friendly repositioning in home care and nursing homes.
