Samarit Rollbord

The Samarit Rollbord Blue Transfer Board is a repositioning and transfer aid that efficiently facilitates patient handling for healthcare professionals. The repositioning aid is covered with a silicone-coated sliding fabric and placed underneath the patient. During patient transfer, strenuous lifting movements can thus be replaced by pulling or pushing. The force required to push or pull the patient amounts to only 15 % of the patient’s body weight. This allows a single healthcare professional to reposition a patient from one surface to another with minimal effort. The Rollbord Blue is therefore particularly suitable for use in intensive care units, radiology, urology, gynecology, as well as in ambulances and emergency departments. The lightweight roll board model can also be used in home care and nursing facilities for back-friendly repositioning.
