Sophie Hänel | Senior Category Lead
As Senior Category Lead for our product ranges Injection & Infusion, Dressings, Hygiene & Disinfection, and Instruments, I’ve been making sure since 2022 that you’re reliably supplied with syringes, desinfection solutions, and others. I accompany our products throughout their entire lifecycle, from selection and procurement up until they go live in our online shop. I also keep an eye out for new product developments to keep our range up to date and tailored to your needs. With over 8 years of experience in the commercial healthcare sector, including 3 years during the coronavirus pandemic, I’ve learned how important it is to respond quickly to market developments in order to best support our customers and their patients.
Maria Wolf | Head of Category Management
Since 2019, I’ve been responsible for the strategic design and ongoing development of our entire product range as Head of Category Management, working with my team of 9. From supplier communication to procurement and product data and content management, we take care of it all. Our aim: to provide a selection that is reliable, practical and tailored to the needs of our customers, fairly priced, available in sufficient quantities, and at the right time. With over 20 years of experience in category management and a degree in sales and marketing, I know how vital it is to understand each product from the user’s point of view. That’s how we make sure we offer real added value.
Mike Mahrhofer-Struck | Content & Translation Manager
Hi, bienvenue, and welkom! Since 2021, I’ve been making sure our international customers receive the information they need, clearly, accurately and in their respective language. I translate and localize our product texts for our international shops in France, Belgium, the French-speaking part of Switzerland, the Netherlands, as well as English-speaking countries. Thanks to my studies in multilingual communication and specialized translation, I know that good translation is about more than switching words between languages, especially when it comes to complex medical content. I'm glad to play a key role in making our products understandable, accessible and usable for our international customers.
Mona Spill | Senior Category Lead
I joined the team in March 2019 as Senior Category Manager and have been responsible for our diagnostics category. That means I make sure our customers find a well-curated, helpful, and modern selection, with everything they need for their daily diagnostic work. I’ve worked in the medical field for more than six years and gathered valuable experience in that time, especially in selecting the right products for specific requirements. What I enjoy most about my job is that I can actively shape our range and provide our customers with an attractive choice, with relevant, up-to-date, and practical products. My goal is for everyone to find exactly what they need, as quickly and easily as possible.
Julia Becker | Head of Team SEO, SEA & UX
I’ve been part of the DocCheck Shop team since 2021, using my expertise in SEO, SEA, and UX to connect with customers at the exact moment they’re searching. Whether they know exactly what they’re looking for, have only a vague idea, or want to browse for inspiration: my goal is to design our online shop, so customers can navigate our range quickly and easily while enjoying a seamless shopping experience. With more than eight years of professional experience in NGOs, affiliate marketing and traditional e-commerce, I’ve learned how important it is to adopt the customer’s perspective, to understand their needs, identify obstacles, and shape the shop in a way that leads intuitively to the right solution.
Gigi Zhou | Complaint and Supplier Quality Manager
For over four years now, I’ve been the point of contact for customer feedback and act as a key link between our manufacturers and our customers. I coordinate delivery times, product queries, or case-specific feedback. Thanks to my experience in customer service, I know how crucial it is to make our processes transparent, act with a solution-oriented mindset, and remain reliable, all to contribute to a positive customer journey. Every resolved case builds more trust in our service, and that’s exactly what makes my work so rewarding.
