The Eko DUO (2nd Gen) ECG + digital stethoscope is a powerful new edition for progressive examinations of the heart and lung in daily medical routine. The modern combination of 1-channel ECG and digital stethoscope allows for an extensive insight into the cardiac functions of a patient. An integrated sound amplifier and wireless data transmission ensure a reliable and detailed measurement result. All gathered data can be transmitted to a smart mobile device for further evaluation and archiving. Thanks to its Bluetooth technology, both the provided stethoscope tube as well as wireless headphones can be used for the examination.

2-in-1 examination with the 2nd generation of Eko DUO

The 2nd Gen Eko DUO combines an on-display depiction of the ECG or PCG diagram with auditory input of the stethoscope examination. The powerful device has stainless steel electrodes for a classic 1-channel ECG, as well as an integrated stethoscope membrane. During the examination of heart and lung sounds, a 32-fold sound amplification with 4 different noise filters is possible. The recording mode allows capturing sections of chest sounds during auscultation and exporting them for further analysis with just one click of a button. This, in combination with the determined measured values of the integrated ECG, provides a broad basis for the evaluation of a patient’s heart and lung functionality. In addition, the telehealth integration of the Eko app offers extensive additional possibilities – like a livestream of the auscultation or an integrated KI analysis.

More hygiene and less cables

Hygiene is the most important aspect for the protection of patients and medical staff. The 2nd generation Eko DUO makes it possible to use wireless headphones by third-party providers for examinations besides the provided stethoscope tube. In doing so, the ECG + digital stethoscope transfers auscultation noises via a paired smartphone to its connected headphones. After an instruction and under the supervision of qualified personnel, the patients can even use the device on themselves.

For the use of Eko DUO with hearing aids, a prior consultation with a hearing care professional is recommended.
