Braun-Stadler perineal scissors by MTM
Perineal scissors are used to make a relief incision during childbirth to prevent tearing or overstretching of the maternal perineum. The scissors can also be used when the pelvic muscles need to be incised a few centimeters, for example, to speed up delivery. The lower leg of the perineal scissors is also angled and rounded at the tip, preventing unwanted injuries. In addition, the scissors are sterile-packaged and cross-contamination is effectively prevented.
