The Littmann CORE delivers what it promises: balanced acoustics and wearing comfort paired with Eko’s powerful digital technology. This ensures clear amplification of important chest sounds while reducing distracting background noise to a minimum thanks to its Active Noise Cancellation. The snap-in ear tips provide an excellent sound occlusion. The digital stethoscope works with the Eko app to transfer data to mobile devices. This allows you to visualize, share and store patient data such as recordings of heart sounds: ideal for monitoring disease progressions for training or collaborating with colleagues.
If you want to use the CORE Stethoscope for training, you can easily connect it to external over-ear headphones or a Bluetooth-enabled speaker.
Hearing care professionals can check in advance whether your hearing aid is compatible for transferring heart and lung sounds to it. You will have to pair the Eko app with the Littmann CORE. The transmission will then work via the already activated Bluetooth connection between the hearing aid and the smartphone

Ein Gamechanger! Auch für Nicht-hörbeeinträchtigte ist die elektronische Verstärkung und das aktive Noise Cancelling gerade auch für mich als Pädiater perfekt! Die Lunge auskultiere ich lieber analog, aber bei kleinen unruhigen oder auch lauthals schreienden Säuglingen/Kleinkindern oder tobenden Geschwisterkindern kann man mit der Verstärkung wirklich alles kardial zuverlässig auskultiere und z.B. Herzgeräusche ausschließen! Genial! Mit dem Schalter ist es rasch ein- und ausgeschaltet, sodass mein Akku bei ca. 40 Auskultationen am Tag locker 2-3 Monate reichte bislang! Schon bei U2s nutze ich jetzt lieber dieses Stethoskop, da man wirklich alles/jeden Sehnenfaden gefühlt hören kann, was auch normale Ohren sonst nicht wahrnehmen könnten :)Die App hatte ich schon mal als Doku für ein Systolikum genutzt, da die Kurve ganz nett dazu ist, ansonsten habe ich damit nur den Modus von Pulmo und Mix auf Kardio umgestellt. Einzig negativ finde ich wie bei vielen Stethoskopen, dass regelmäßig die Membranen abfallen und manchmal länger gesucht werden müssen :/ auf jeden Fall aber eine klare Kaufempfehlung für Pädiater! :)
Für Hörgeräteträger kaum in der akuten Situation hilfreich. In der Notaufnahme, wo es schnell gehen muss, dauert es zulange, bis eine Verbindung aufgebaut ist. Zudem kommt der Sound mit zwei Sekunden Verzögerung am Hörgerät an. Damit stimmt die Atembewegung nicht mit dem Sound überein. Darüber hinaus ist auch die Soundqualität eher schlecht. Ich rate also davon ab, dieses Produkt mit Hörgerät zu verwenden.

Sehr gute Qualität,funktioniert super, egal ob mit pder ohne Verstärkung. Für mich als Hörbeeinträchtigter wirklich gut.

Sehr gut Qualität
Als konventionelles Stethoskop überzeugt das Littmann CORE Digital durchaus und ist dank der elektronischen Verstärkung auch von mir Schwerhörigem nutzbar. Es fehlt aber eine Markierung, welche Seite des drehbaren Bruststücks gerade aktiv ist. (Ich bin schwerhörig!)Für mich sehr enttäuschend ist die Bluetooth-Funktion. Ich hatte gehofft, ich könnte das Auskultationssignal über den Umweg Mobiltelefon verstärkt auf meine Hörgeräte schicken. Atemgeräusche und erst recht Herztöne sind dabei aber derart leise, dass so kein sinnvolles Arbeiten mit dem Stethoskop möglich ist.

Ein super Stethoskop für ?-Träger - und zugleich kann man es zur Lehre nutzen, weil man genau das übers Hörgerät hört, was ein anderer herkömmlich auskultiert.Einfach klasse ?

Ich habe bisher sowohl das Littmann Master Cardiology als auch das Cardiology IV genutzt und muss sagen, dass hier die Qualität nochmal besser ist. Sowohl analog als auch digital ist der Akustik wirklich sehr gut, mir gefällt auch die Geräuschunterdrückung im Digitalmodus. Meisten kann man die Verstärkung runter drehen, da dies wirklich sonst sehr laut ist. Aus meiner Sicht gibt es lediglich zwei Mankos, die auch den Stern Abzug ausmachen: 1. Micro USB als anfällige und nicht mehr zeitgemäße Schnittstelle statt USB-C und das kleine Zwischenstück Schlauch zwischen Trichter und Elektronik. Hoffe es wird nicht die bereits angesprochene Sollbruchstelle.
Im Vergleich zum zurzeit leider nicht mehr lieferbaren Littmann-Stethoskop 3200 ist das CORE-Digital-Stethoskop unhandlicher. Außerdem erfolgt die HR-Anzeige nur auf dem angekoppelten Handy. Die Visualisierung der Herzgeräusche dort ist nicht uninteressant. Die akustische Qualität ist bei beiden Stethoskopen vergleichbar. Beim bisherigen System erlaubte ein Knopfdruck auf dem Griffstück die Umschaltung zwischen Membran- und Trichtermodus, jetzt ist wieder die Drehung des Auskultationskopfes erforderlich. mit dem Verstärker überhöre ich kein Systolikum mehr. Hoffe nur, dass das flexible Schlauchstück direkt am Kopf nicht die Sollbruchstelle wird. Und, im Zeitalter von USB C verwendet das Ding noch Micro USB.
