The portable VS-600 patient monitoring monitor from Mindray is designed for monitoring a patient's vital signs. This compact and lightweight vital signs monitor provides precise measurements. Spot-check measurements of temperature, blood pressure (NIBP), pulse rate, and oxygen saturation (SpO₂) are possible for adults, children, and neonates. For mobile use in emergency services, the robust monitor is equipped with a powerful lithium-ion battery, enabling continuous operation for up to 22 hours. The monitor is available in various modules, with or without accessories.

Functions of the modules

The compact patient monitor is characterized by its simple operation and easy readability. The slightly upward-angled viewing angle and the large, clear display ensure that all values can be quickly assessed. The monitor can be operated using quick-access buttons, and the menu navigation is intuitive. To monitor body temperature, the device can be equipped with additional thermometers (not included).

The Mindray VS-600 is available in two configurations for monitoring vital signs:

• The VS-600 monitor with NIBP module for monitoring blood pressure using upper-arm blood pressure cuffs. The green quick-access button on the device starts and stops routine measurements. Readings are determined using the oscillometric measurement method, displaying systolic, diastolic, and mean arterial pressure on the screen. The unit can be switched between mmHg and kPa. During NIBP measurement, the pulse rate per minute (PR) is also displayed in bpm.
• Optional: Standard accessories for the NIBP module – pressure hose (for adults, children, and infants) and a reusable adult cuff for an arm circumference of 24–35 cm.

• The VS-600 monitor with NIBP and SpO₂ module for monitoring blood pressure, oxygen saturation, and pulse rate. This module configuration allows the connection of Mindray SpO₂ finger sensors. The monitor displays peripheral capillary oxygen saturation in %. Additionally, it provides the PI value (perfusion index), which indicates the current reliability of the SpO₂ measurement. Pulse rate can be measured via the SpO₂ or NIBP measurement. If SpO₂ and NIBP are measured simultaneously, the pulse measurement source is the SpO₂ module.
• Optional: Standard accessories for the SpO₂ module – reusable SpO₂ finger clip sensor for adults and a matching cable with a length of 2.5 m.
